But I always miss my own mom.

My friend, Deb, got a life-saving bone marrow transplant from her brother a couple of years ago... Yay, Deb's brother, for saving her life!!

Laiken waited a really long time for her bone marrow transplant. Because there wasn't a match for her for a long time... Would she have lived if they'd found a donor sooner? We'll never know.
